The Sanibel Island Lighthouse or Point Ybel Light was built in 1884 and sits 98 feet above sea level on Sanibel Island. The Lighthouse is still standing although partially destroyed by Hurricane Ian but the keepers houses were destroyed on September 28th, 2022. Photo by Jim Prisching
